Pleasantways is where to come to when you feel the need for peace, quiet and a little pampering either temporarily or permanently. Here, cares fall away and your new and relaxing way of life takes over. You will make new friends, keep in touch with old ones and come and go as you please.
You will be able to take great pleasure in being surrounded by beautiful gardens in safe and tranquil surroundings which are close to excellent shopping malls, classy restaurants and coffee shops.
Temporary or permanent accommodation is either en-suite, full board, serviced unites or you can do you own thing in one of our twenty well appointed single or double cottages for permanent residents. Our Care Wing which is not a frail care facility, caters for temporary incapacity with 24/7 help and attention.
Pleasantways has been around for 45 years offering a home from home. Over the last five years, all facilities have undergone extensive modernisation. Solar electric backup is installed in all of the cottages and powers all of the security lighting around the gated community. Safe-guard Security Systems provide round the clock guards, while there is also Rapid Response and CCTV coverage for your continuous security.
We have installed a 400 000 litre rainwater harvesting and storage system to supplement our two boreholes and municipal supply when necessary. Other features include the availability of ZOL internet as well as landline phones and the ubiquitous ADSL system. Our small lounge has HD tv with the premium Multichoice bouquet.
Teas are served in the mornings and afternoons in the main lounge when families and friends are cordially invited to join us. Scrumptious meals are served in our dining room, where guests are equally welcome too. Weekly entertainment and excises are arranged for your benefit. These include regular fortnightly quizzes, weekly Biokinetics, musical interludes and free attendance at REPS Theatre dress rehearsals.
So, come and see for yourself what Pleasantways is all about. We are situated at 6-7A Cuba Avenue, Mount Pleasant, Harare. Or you can contact us via email
