RELAXING ON A SUNDAY
Hi All I have light-coloured curtains in my bedroom and I generally keep the windows all open at night – it’s been that way since an old cook of mine told me he did not need an alarm clock – he was woken up every day by the melodious tunes sung by some of the […]

VISITING SPEAKER FOR ZIM SOCIETY FOR ANALYTICAL PSYCHOLOGY
Dear Members
An aim of the Zimbabwe Society for Analytical Psychology is to highlight the value that analytical psychology
brings to everyday life. One of the most useful and pragmatic concepts central to Jung’s theory is that of the
complex. Operating both consciously and unconsciously, complexes play a significant part in driving our choices
and behaviours and determining how our lives unfold. Last month we watched Dr John Gosling’s presentation
on complexes, in which he explains the function, origin, manifestation and triggers of complexes. Thanks to
those who joined us for the screening and contributed to the stimulating discussion afterwards.

PARKINSON’S DISEASE
Beyond this shake, beyond this contortion of the human jacket is a soul with purpose, seeking truth, finding strength, accepting courage, having the sweet ability to keep on…. What do these celebrities have in common – Michael J Fox, Mohammed Ali, Linda Ronstadt and Neil Diamond? They all suffer from Parkinson’s disease. It was in […]

DRIVING SAFELY IS AN ATTITUDE – NOT A PLATITUDE!
Driving safely is an attitude – not a platitude! One of the more important aspects of driving safety is adopting the mindset that YOU WILL DRIVE SAFELY.
