Dear Guardian Angels, Friends and Supporters,

I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits. As the Chairman of the BS Leon Trust, it is an honour to share with you the latest updates and developments that have transpired over the past 12 months.

These have been challenging times for all of us as once again we’ve navigated economic turmoil that has touched every corner of our lives. But, as I write this newsletter today, I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude and optimism for the future.

Our progressive journey through these trying times has been made possible by the unwavering support of our new committee members, who have brought fresh perspectives, energy, and determination to our cause. They have worked tirelessly to ensure that our elderly residents receive the care they deserve.

I must also extend our heartfelt thanks to our guardian angels – our sponsors and donors. Your generosity has been our guiding light, and your contributions have not only sustained us but also enabled us to grow and flourish. Your belief in our mission is the wind beneath our wings, and we are profoundly grateful for your continued support.

Most importantly, our dedicated staff members have been the pillars of strength, providing care, comfort, and companionship to our elderly residents. They have been unwavering in their commitment to ensuring our seniors live their golden years with dignity and love. Our caregivers are the heartbeat of our home, and their efforts are nothing short of heroic.

But the journey does not end here; it continues with exciting new developments and growth on the horizon. We are thrilled to share that our home is undergoing a transformation. New bathrooms have been fitted, ensuring a more comfortable and dignified living experience for our residents. In line with our commitment to sustainability, solar panels have been installed to provide clean energy and reduce our environmental footprint.

Work is also ongoing to improve the look and feel of our home, through partnering with local schools and art clubs, creating a warm and inviting environment that our residents can truly call home.

As the holiday season approaches, we want to extend an invitation to all of you to be a part of our Christmas Appeal. The past year has been challenging for many of our elderly residents, and your support in donating your time, food, clothing, or funds can help us give them an amazing Christmas.

Let us come together to make this holiday season special for those who have given us so much wisdom and love over the years. Your participation will make a world of difference and bring warmth and joy to the hearts of our elderly residents.

I want to thank each and every one of you for being a part of our journey, for your unwavering support, and for proving that, even in the face of adversity, the human spirit can prevail.

With heartfelt gratitude and warm wishes for the upcoming holiday season.

Sincerely

Martine Pelham Fox
