This past year has been one of transformation and growth for the B.S. Leon Trust, and we could not be more grateful for the many hands that have worked tirelessly to make our home not just beautiful, but more importantly, a place of love and care for all our residents.
Our new committee has been a driving force behind the changes to the outside of our buildings, working with determination and passion to ensure that the B.S. Leon looks its very best. We owe them a tremendous debt of gratitude for their relentless efforts and dedication. But as always, it’s the generosity of spirit from all our sponsors, whether in cash, kind, or time, that has made all of this possible. Your support has been invaluable, and we thank each and every one of you for your kindness and the impact you’ve had on our home and its residents.
Of course, no amount of improvement to the physical space would be meaningful without the incredible care provided by our staff. It is their dedication, compassion, and hard work that keep B.S. Leon alive. To our team, who day in and day out ensure the well-being, happiness, and health of our residents—thank you. You are the heart of this home, and we truly appreciate all that you do.
This year, we are excited to welcome Greta McKenzie to our team as the new administrator of the home. Greta, we look forward to building a wonderful and lasting relationship with you, and we wish you every success in your new role at B.S. Leon.
As we celebrate the season of giving, we remind ourselves of the core of what makes B.S Leon special. While the home may look lovely on the outside, it’s the love, care, and heart within these walls that truly matter. Our focus must always remain on our residents—their happiness, their comfort, and their health. This home is not just a place; it is a feeling, a community built on compassion, and we must never lose sight of that. It is the heart of B.S. Leon that has kept us going all these years, and it is the heart that will continue to guide us.
