This Father's Day, Sam Levy's Village was buzzing with activity as families came to partake in a festival aimed at honouring the men who guide, protect and love us daily. The event has an incredible display of the best food stands, car clubs, bike clubs, and lifestyle brands in town.
It was exciting to see the timeless machines on display. Classic, well-preserved cars and carefully maintained collector's cars. One could not help but appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into building each of these magnificent machines. They featured stunning chrome finishes, roaring engines, and fascinating backstories. It attracted many fans who stopped to get a closer look at the cars of their choice.
There were also powerful motorcycles from The Outlaws Zimbabwe and various biking communities that added to the day's fun. The thundering engines represented freedom, adventure, and the same spirit with which most fathers live their lives.
How can we celebrate Father's Day without some good food and drinks? Well, there was a lot to pick from, with all the barbecued favourites, gourmet treats, and local delicacies that were on sale. After all, is there anything that says "Dad" more than enjoying a good braai, a hearty meal, and a well-earned drink in the company of family and friends?
The festival delivered everything needed to treat the leading father figures in our lives. To all the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures, we hope you had the happiest Father's Day and were celebrated for the love, guidance, and support you bring to those around you.
